A Note From the Hive

Dear families,

Every day in our hive, little voices find new words, new friends, and new ways to shine. Some of those moments are big. Most are small, quiet, and easy to miss. All of them matter.

The Buzz brings our newest Facebook posts right here, so you can see what's happening at Behavior Bee: celebrations, community days, helpful reminders, and the everyday wins that make us proud.

Thank you for trusting us to be part of your child's journey. We're honored to fly alongside you.

With love,

The Behavior Bee Team

Honey for the Heart

A little encouragement for the grown-ups in the hive.

  • Progress isn't always a leap. Sometimes it's one brave buzz, and that's worth celebrating.
  • You don't have to do it all today. Small, steady steps build the strongest honeycomb.
  • Your child isn't behind. They're on their own flight path, and you're right beside them.
  • The hard days count too. They're part of the story, not the end of it.
  • Celebrate the tiny wins: a new word, a shared glance, a moment of calm. Those are the sweet ones.
  • Asking for help is a strength. Every hive works best together.
  • Rest is part of the work, for you and for your little one.
  • Your patience is planting seeds you'll see bloom.
  • There's no one right way to communicate. Every voice deserves to be heard.
  • Some days are honey and some days sting. Both are part of growing.
  • You are your child's favorite flower in the whole garden.
  • Keep going. Even the busiest bees visit one flower at a time.

Bee-sides at Home

Small, playful ways to keep the buzz going between sessions.

  • Catch Them Being Great

Notice good moments out loud and be specific: "You put your shoes on all by yourself!" Praise you can picture helps it happen again.

  • Show the Day

A simple picture schedule (wake up, breakfast, car, school) helps little ones know what's next, which can make transitions smoother.

  • Offer Two Good Choices

"Red cup or blue cup?" Choices build communication and give your child a little control in a big world.

  • First, Then

"First shoes, then park." Pairing a less-loved task with something fun makes the order easy to see and follow.

  • Make Room for Calm

A cozy corner with soft things and a favorite toy gives everyone a place to reset when feelings get big.

  • Play Is Practice

Turn-taking games, bubbles, and silly songs build connection and communication. Follow your child's lead and join the fun.

Every child is different. Ask your child's therapy team how to tailor these ideas for your family.
